My name is John Fuhrman. I have been practicing law in Puyallup, Washington for nearly 20 years. I all but limit my practice to one thing and one thing only and that is representing those who have been accused of the offense of DUI. I have lived in Pierce County for over 45 years. Prior to attending law school, I worked in politics. After completing the ROTC Program at Seattle University, I became a Army National Guard Officer here in the State of Washington. I was given the honor and privilege of commanding one of the Washington Army National Guard Units which were deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in early 2004. I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for my service in the Baghdad, Iraq area. In addition, I was also inducted into the First Cavalry Order of the Combat Spur. I am a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. I am also a lifetime member of AMVETs. I am also a member of the Elks, the Eagles, Pythian-Knights and a number of other civil/fraternal organizations. I attend church regularly at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. I have represented clients over the many years I have been practicing before the Washington State Supreme Court, the Washington Court of Appeals, the State Superior Court, various county district courts and municipal courts and before various Washington State Administrative Agencies. I am also admitted to practice before the United State District Court for the Western District of Washington.
