He also serves on the Board of Governors for the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association, is its Past President (2001-2002) and is the Editor for its journal, the RITLA Newsletter.
Mark is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association Superior Court Bench Bar Committee, and currently serves as its chairperson. He also chaired the Subcommittee to review and revise the Rhode Island Civil Rules of Procedure enacted June 15, 2006. He is a member of the RI Bar Association Family Court Bench Bar Committee, and the Federal Bench Bar Committee. He is legal counsel to Defenders of Animals, The Friends of the Music Mansion, and The Feinstein Foundations.
